If necessary, the days and time including extra days and times are negotiable.
Children:
· Chloe, 5 years old, in Kindergarten at Newington public.
· Xavier, 2 years old, in Fiona childcare, North Strathfield
Job Responsibilities:
On Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- Pick up Chloe from school, Newington Public, in Newington at 15:00
- Pick up Xavier from Fiona Childcare straight after.
- Give dinner to both kids as cooked prior to picking up children
- Bath/ shower the children, brush their teeth and put them in pyjamas
On Fridays:
- Pick up Xavier from Fiona childcare at 16:00
- Give dinner to Xavier as cooked prior to picking him up
- Bath/ shower Xavier, brush his teeth and put him in pyjamas
In general:
- Put the absolute safety of the children first before all other responsibilities.
- Tend to children's basic needs.
- Participate and supervise activities with children.
Hiring criteria:
- have a certificate III in childcare as a minimum
- have a current working children first aid certificate
- have had a clear working with children background check
- have a driving licence
Highly desirable but not mandatory:
- cook and bring dinner for children. An extra allowance in pay will be made for this.
- Nanny to have and use her own car. An allowance for fuel will be made to pick up children. If the Nanny needs to further travel for the well-being of the children, the Nanny's extra fuel costs will be covered. Car seats will be provided. The Nanny must ensure that she has adequate car insurance to cover any accidents suffered by the children in the car.
