Hi! My name is Mary Frances, and I'm from the US. I've been in Brisbane for over 4 years now, and I'm currently working towards my Master of Teaching (Primary) at QUT. I have my bachelor's in psychology from a university back home. I love trips to the park and being outside and prefer to have the kids playing outdoors instead of looking at a screen! I own a car and am comfortable driving, walking, and using public transportation.

What parents love about me
I'd like to think parents appreciate my warmth and respect for their children, as well as my appreciation for house rules and ability to get the kids to bed! It isn't just a job for me. My genuine care for their children is evident and therefore puts parents at ease.
What kids love about me
I love going to the park and playing outside with the kids. They also always love my style of book-reading!
What I love about this work
Every child is different, and therefore, their needs vary. I love the challenge of figuring out how I can best cater to those needs to make my time with the children as easy and beneficial for them as possible. It also helps to give me insight in my current field of study.
