Hello I'm Elizabeth,

I've worked in outside of school hours care for a year and a half, before moving on to work as a nanny the following year. During this time I was also studying my Bachelor of Education.

During my course I have taught in both primary and secondary schools, so I am comfortable with all ages and am happy to jump in and competently help with homework whenever it's needed.

During the past four years I have spent time working with pre-primary children, and focusing my efforts mostly on infants and children under 5. I am competent with changing nappies, bathing, bedtime and I have some experience with sleep training. I have also just completed my cert III in early childhood education and care.

I am up to date with my vaccinations and get the flu shot annually, so I am safe to be around newborns. I am also fully covid vaccinated with Pfizer and Moderna.

I am a nurturing and enthusiastic person, and I am qualified in first aid (for adults, children and infants) in addition to holding a working with children's check and police check. I also have a driver's license and my own car which can accept car seats.

Lastly, I adore animals, so pets won't phase me.

She is reliable, enthusiastic and caring. Elizabeth knows how to structure time well, but is also very flexible. She is also well-versed in child development, both due to her personal experiences, as well as her natural affinity towards children. Elizabeth is extremely hands on with our son. She relates to our son in such a delightful way, it is a true joy to watch her interact with him. She plays with him, reads to him, feeds him and makes him laugh and smile. Her approach to caring for Jack compliments our parenting very well, as she respects our personal philosophies while being confident enough to independently make day-to-day decisions regarding our son. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have had Elizabeth in our home.
