I have been babysitting/nannying for the past 9 years on and off, I mostly babysit casually (children aged between 12 months and 14 years) but also on-going such as before/after school care and I do also have plenty of personal family experiences with children. I have a 4 niece's and nephew's aged between 2 and 10, then multiple cousins that I have provided free babysitting for over the years.
I am a very family orientated person, so I definitely understand the need to have positive and encouraging people within your child/rens lives and I hope that I can be that person for them and be that person that can give you peace of mind.

What parents love about me
I think they find that kids straight away know that I am a fun loving person but also understand that I am firm but fair. "Yes we can go for a bike ride... but you also have to wear your helmet even though you don't like it"
What kids love about me
I am basically a big kid that loves to engage young children...If I am cooking I'll get them to help, If I am bored I'll pull out newspaper and start creating something. When it's a new day... it means a new adventure.
What I love about this work
Being around children just makes you have so much energy, they have the greatest imaginations and I think we all need a little bit of that in our lives and I get that energy from being around kids.
