Hi there!! My name is Adelle and I currently reside on the Gold Coast. I am 19 this year and have worked part-full time for 3 years in a childcare center. During my time there I have worked with babies (5 months) up to the age of five. During my time there I have worked with babies (5 months) up to the age of five. Growing up in church, I started volunteering my time in Sunday school during the service, working with children up to Grade 7. I thoroughly enjoyed school all the way through to Grade 11, where I found my passion for working with children and left to start part-full time working. My first language is Afrikaans, however I speak English fluently. I am currently studying a diploma in early childhood and am finishing off my final unit before I get my Cert III. I also hold a paid blue card for working with children. I have always had a special place in my heart for children, but never thought I would work with them until I started a traineeship in a childcare centre. There I discovered a joy I had never felt before and straight away knew that is what I wanted to do. Children, I believe, bring out the best in me. There is no greater feeling that sitting with a shy child and slowly unravelling their hidden personality and watching them transform into this actual little person, genuinely excited to see you when you walk into the room. I cannot put into words exactly how I feel when I am at work, surround by all these cute little ones that just make it impossible not to smile. Working with a family for a period of time, and building strong and close relationships with a family, knowing that I am helping out is something that I would love to do. I have always loved helping out, and so I can't imagine a better job than supporting parents by helping them around the house and looking after the children.
