What sets me apart from most other nannies is my extensive paid professional experience in private homes (Sydney/Adelaide) and being specifically trained as a Nanny. This is also my full-time vocation. Being a 'Career Nanny' I've spent over 18 years later supporting families (first time nervous parents) and specialise in the sole charge care of babies/toddlers. I am super organised, committed, and only seek families who are looking for a 'child focused' (only duties attaining to the child) long-term, dedicated loving Nanny, to build a special bond - strong relationship with their baby. (for potentially years to come).
I'm extremely approachable (to put your mind at ease). Transparent incommunication, I'm honest and loyal. I usually stay with the one family between 2 to 5 years. (My most memorable past role, caring for a baby girl from 10 weeks - almost 5 years old). With an engaging happy disposition and down to earth calm approach, I have a natural affinity with babies and young children. Focused on a safe, loving and learning environment, I'm passionate about early childhood development and sharing in all the milestones. I'm a routine-based Nanny, and would suit a family that also feel it is paramount to have a predictable daily routine. I also understand the components of being an empathic (albeit professional) Nanny, including a family's need for flexibility,
respect and confidentiality. With a mature and sensible nature, I'm
competent and confident with 24/7 care of babies, toddlers and
pre-schoolers. I'm also diligent when it comes to reliability and being punctual.
Last year I finished with another much loved family, both busy
professionals; Airline Pilots. I had the delight (since 2016) of caring for their first born (initially 10 months old, to a fun loving almost three-year-old). And then a beautiful new little bundle (from 10 weeks old). This role included over nights whilst both parents were flying and away, and being an integral part of the family's daily routine, on a rostered basis.
I love the hungry caterpillar! Nature walks in pram, reading, teaching, sounds, words, colours, engaging all day long. I'm very familiar with Tizzie Hall "Save Our Sleep' routines, and I'm a child focused Nanny. Educational Developmental play... with lots of cuddles along the way.
I'm currently contracted permanently; weekly, by lovely working medical professionals with an adorable baby. Initially 8 months, now a busy 20 month
old. With their exciting announcement of a new bubs on the way, my availabilities will increase this year...
Open start date in 2019. Flexible between 1, 2 or 3 days per week. (for the right match, I'm also open to a full-time role) March ++ start date. A role based on Wednesdays/Thursdays, highly desirable From July there will be scope for additional days. At this stage, I am seeking a family with 1 child; a little one (between the ages of 4 months and 12 months old, on nanny's commencement). A family who
wish for personalised in home nanny-care till preschool/kindy/school, no part-time childcare centers with the perpetual illness. A family who work solely outside the home, and need sole charge nanny-care for full day time hours or shifts (usually between 8.5 and 11 hours a day) whilst they are away at work. As I reside
in Mile End, I'm only interested in families living within around 10kms of this area.
