I have done a lot of babysitting for families in and around my area, looking after children with a vast range of personalities and ages. My other relevant experience includes working as an Arts & Crafts teacher in workshops set up in shopping centre malls in order to engage children in the school holidays.
I am an enthusiastic, warm, bubbly and playful person who not only can, but loves playing with kids for hours on end. However, in saying that, I am also very responsible and hardworking and am more than capable of carrying out any pre-bedtime jobs that need to be done, making sure kids are doing any homework or chores they need to do, ensuring they are wound down and ready to get to bed on time, well-behaved, polite, etc.
I like to think that I care with a lot of warmth. I simply want the kids I'm looking after to have a blast when they're with me, and want me back again the next time their parent/s need a night out or just some time on their own.
I don't have my driver's license, however I am very savvy on Public Transport and would be able to get practically anywhere I need to go. I am also a HUGE animal lover, so pets are never a problem! (In fact they're always a plus! Haha!)
I'd love to hear from you if you think I'd be the right fit for your family.

What parents love about me
I am extremely reliable - I am always on time and never forget appointments. I can always be trusted to do the right thing by them and by their children.
What kids love about me
I think most of all, kids love the playful and energised games that I make up! They love using their imaginations around me and not being afraid to be creative; making craft projects, drawing, writing stories and singing made-up songs (all to show Mum/Dad later of course!) Kids often think that I am funny, but also feel very comforted by my warm persona.
What I love about this work
It's a wonderful way to take a break from uni and the other things in my life. It allows me to learn so much about young people and hopefully have a positive impact on their life in one way or another. Being around kids reminds me to never be afraid to use my imagination and be creative, which I think is very important.
