Hi There! My name is Jessica, I'm 27 years old and I have a huge passion for working with children!

I am known as the girl next door. I am fun loving, kind hearted, nurturing and passionate. I love spending time with my friends and family and absolutely love children! I am currently working as a case manager for patients with acquired brain injuries which I love! I was a nanny for 5 years while I was working towards my degree in Speech Pathology and as part of my degree I was required to complete a child development and psychology course. So along with my many years of experience with children, I also have certificates of qualification. I'm really missing being around kids and would like to find some casual babysitting jobs.
A little bit about me as a person... I am a non smoker, non drinker, I also have my drivers license.
As a child I moved back and fourth from Germany to Australia, as my mother is German. This means that I am bilingual! I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and feel that my wide range of cultural experiences have enabled me to be an accepting and open minded young adult.
I am always up for adventure and looking for new ways to make the day fun and exciting! As a nanny, I loved to take the children swimming, to dance classes, to the fire station, to the park, to the beach, we love doing arts and crafts, making musical instruments, and even have dance parties... the list goes on! I have been called the baby whisperer before as I'm great with settling little ones to sleep!
I am incredibly passionate about giving back to my community and involving myself in charity work. I always find myself planning fundraisers and being involved with charitable organisations. Usually causes that support children and women's health, but I never limit myself and help out wherever I can. This part of my life is something that I share with the children that I look after as I think it is important to instill good values and morals from a young age.
