Speech pathology student available for casual/part-time baby sitting and nannying duties

Second year speech pathology student studying at the University of Newcastle. Many of the children which I have interacted with have learning difficulties or experience disorders such as Autism. I have a passion for working with children, which is what inspired me to study speech pathology. In the past have tutored for high school students (English and maths) and have casually baby sat for a family with two young boys after school. I live independently, which requires me to use basic cooking and cleaning skills which will be useful in this job.

I would describe myself as confident, bubbly and outgoing. I enjoy reading, fashion and music. I have worked for sales and retail for the past 4 years, which has provided me with communication and time-management skills. I believe taking on a nannying or baby-sitting role will be a good change for me and will expose and broaden my interaction skills with children, that will benefit me in my future career.

I am quite flexible with my hours and my availability may change throughout the year depending on my timetable each semester and exams/assignments. On occasional weekends, I commute to Sydney, where my parents are from on occasional weekends. However, I will provide notice weeks in advance.

I have a drivers licence and my own car, WWC, Police Check and First Aid/CPR requirements.
