I adore kids - always have! That's why I opened a licensed in home daycare for 12 kids way back in 1996.

I saw that there was a gap between providers & parents - the kids became a product! How terrible is that? I wanted my warm & caring upbringing to transfer into the 'work' that I did with the families that entrusted me with the care of their children. I wanted my warm & caring upbringing to transfer into the 'work' that I did with the families that entrusted me with the care of their children. I wanted parents to feel supported, know where to go for answers to their kids issues & to feel that it was all going to be ok! Sometimes kids were just kids but then things happen like biting, anger, disconnection, etc & it puts pressure on the parents to have the answers now. Most parents get their answers from those around them & sometimes it caused more confusion. So I wanted to give parents answers that supported their issues and did. We worked together to give their children the best of all worlds. I closed my doors in 2012 and have since continued learning as much as I can.

I've taken a break & now come back stronger :) I'm helping families as an emotion coach but would love to drop into a nanny role to balance out the work that I do - one side being that I continue working part time as an emotion coach and the other side being that I work as a nanny. It's the best combination of both worlds.

So basically I've got loads of experience & I keep active so I've got the wisdom of an 'older' person with the energy of a younger person. I'm happy, well rounded, supportive, hard working and kids/babies love me :)
