My name is Jessie Burfield, I'm 23 years old and I love working with children. I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher and have my cert 3 in Childcare. I have an extensive history of babysitting children for neighbours, friends of friends as well as other babysitting services
The duties I would fulfil as being your nanny would include picking up the kids from school, washing, light cleaning, cooking dinner if needed, shopping for supplies if needed and dropping children to and from after school activities.
I completed my High School Certificate at St Patricks College in Sutherland in 2013 and have completed a Diploma in Screen Media at Wollongong tafe in 2014. In 2016 I received my certificate 3 in childcare and I'm currently in my third year of university studying primary school teaching at Australian Catholic University North Sydney.
I've also had plenty of experience with children as I have worked for numerous families. Ive worked for families picking up children from school Monday to Friday, full days with children under the age of 5 and overnight stays for families. I currently have a baby seat permanently in my car with a drivers license.
I've had work experience in the babies room in a childcare that was in Bexley and worked in the 3-5 year old room in a childcare in Miranda completing my certificate 3 in Childcare. The duties include changing nappies numerous times a day, feeding, sleep routine, cleaning, entertaining and exploring new skills with the children. I've also had experience in the toddlers room- toilet training, feeding and teaching the children school ready skills.
I've had experience with young babies as I've continuously babysat twins since they were 6 months old who are now nearly turning 5. As they attend childcare most days, I babysit them occasionally.
I worked at Bakers Delight for 7 and a half years. I currently nanny for 2 families a couple of days a week that I have been working with for the past 2-3 years and waitress at a restaurant in Caringbah on weekends.
I can work in the availability shown as well as doing late nights.
I have my working with children's check and first aid certificate.
Rate $25-$30 per hour depending on travel.
