I'm a Nanny with 16yrs experience. I'm kind & happy with a good sense of humor who loves helping families (& pets!) with their busy lives.
Hello, my name is Jayne and I have been a nanny with 7 local families for the past 16yrs. My own children were 'locally grown', now with families of their own. I worked at their primary school as a teachers aide, and provided respite care for Fostered children who were permanently living with their Foster parents. I worked at their primary school as a teachers aide, and provided respite care for Fostered children who were permanently living with their Foster parents. My first Nanny position was with the same family, for 9yrs. We kind of adopted each other ( parents, 3 wonderfully lovely children & 2 wonderfully naughty dogs). I covered after school pickups, school holidays and 24/7 care when parents away on business. My role included driving to after school activities, homework, shopping, cooking, light housework, pretty much what ever was needed. We became like family and still keep in touch. Over the past few years I've worked for families that have needed help for shorter terms depending on their own work commitments. I am reliable and honest. And would always have your childrens best interest at heart. They are my No.1 proirity.

What parents love about me
My commitment to families and their family values and 'house rules' My reliability. My funny, caring, kind nature is appreciated as much as my ability to just get in there and do what ever was needed. I'm level headed, trustworth and calm.
What kids love about me
I could be just as silly as them and always make time for fun and learning new things, like having the children help with the food prep, picking out a meal they like and learning how to cook it, always safety first and age appropriate. Little nature walks in the garden is an activity most younger children enjoy, and park visits if approved by parents.
What I love about this work
Having an interest in my own childrens education led me to being a teachers aide in their primary school years. Many years later I became a Foster Carer mainly providing Respite Care for children already living with Foster Families. I have cared for many children over the years and their assortment of pets. Every family is unique, all having their own dynamics, backgrounds, beliefs etc, but all wanting the same for their child/children, feeling confident knowing they will be leaving them in experienced, kind hands.
Mine.
