Starting out with the Multiple Birth Support Association, I spent three years with a family from when the twins were 6 weeks old. Their older brother was 14months old. I worked alongside the mum at times, and other times I had sole care of the twins. Duties included supporting mum with her breastfeeding or taking care of bottle feeding, sterilizing equipment, prepping bottles, changing nappies, facilitating tummy time, bathing, cleaning up after each activity, keeping to routine, as well as attending to infant laundry until the twins woke for their next feed.
A new Police Check is currently being conducted and I'm booked in to update my first aid qualification.
