I will take the time to fully understand and appreciate the parent’s view, disposition and expectations from the outset. The start of the day and the end of the day are the most important hand-over times. Making sure that all information, issues and expectations are understood is the starting point of ensuring good care and wellbeing is maintained. • Experience – I have a wealth of direct experience with my family ( and now wonderful grandchildren) which enables me to often pre-empt challenges and issues before they arise.
