Former Artist and Current Student of Midwifery & Nursing. Experienced Nanny & Babysitter from Newborn- School Age! Hello! I'm Emma, I'm a former performing artist and mature-age Nursing & Midwifery student. I'm originally from the United States, but have been a permanent resident of Aus for some time now. I have been nannying intermittently since I was in high school and have always had a natural desire to care for children and infants and I definitely hope to have my own family one day. My nursing and midwifery knowledge has also given me even more confidence in my ability to be a competent and independent care provider for infants and children alike. Since moving to Melbourne I have been supporting several families with children ages 2 months - 5 years. I am infant & child CPR certified, have background checks from the USA, Canada & Aus as well as WWC. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations including triple COVID-19 vax'd. I also have a driver's license with a spotless record and my own car with a 0-4 yrs professionally installed child restraint. I am passionate about creativity, movement, and health and definitely make it a priority to encourage and plan active, creative, and tactile/sensory-focused play when I am providing care. I would like to acknowledge the incredible trust that parents put in caretakers and I do not take this responsibility lightly; supporting your unique parenting style and the needs of your child is my top priority!
