Hi, My name is Brittany and I am qualified early childhood educator offering babysitting services during the week.

I have completed certificate 3 in early childhood education and care completed half of the diploma but decided to defer to focus on babysitting. I also hold a working with children check, first aid and cpr, police check, introduction to autism professional development (via positive partnerships) Public liability insurance for parties and events, COVID19 infection control training, full drivers license and ABN. I have also looked into studying certificate 4 in Education support online in 2021 and will be undertaking other certificates and professional development courses.

I have cared for children for 8 years (almost 5 years professionally) have had 7 months experience in a range of different child care centres, have cared for children while babysitting aged from 6 weeks to 16 years and have also looked after twins and groups of 5 children at a time. I also do children's parties on the weekends so have run games and done storytimes with large groups of children.

I always bring along a range of experiences for the children such as playdough and tools, sensory bottles, educational activities, arts and crafts, bubbles, appropriate music to dance to, stories as well as a lot of other things that rotate in and out of my bag. All of the experiences I bring along with me are linked to the early years learning framework (EYLF) which is used in early learning centres and kindergartens.

I love creating smiles and seeing children learn, grow and develop into amazing young people. I enjoy creating friendships and bonds with each child that I care for and coming up with experiences that suit each childs developmental stage. Its so rewarding that it doesnt even feel like a job.

My hourly rate starts at $26 for up to 3 children. If there are more than 3 children, I am required to drive the children somewhere, am booked on a public holiday, have to travel over 30km distance etc. There are additional fees.
