Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I am a first year psychology student passionate about caring for kids.

I love caring for children and believe it is what I am supposed to do. Growing up an only child I begged my parents relentlessly for a younger sibling. In 2016 they became foster parents and I met my little brother, who is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am currently a first year university student planning to pursue paediatric clinical psychology and surround myself with as many foster kids as I possibly can, while helping others in my practice.

I spent most of high school babysitting for several families, which I viewed as less of a job and more just great fun playing with kids! One of the families I babysat for had two gorgeous autistic children who taught me a lot about the incredible strengths of not thinking exactly like everyone else.

I love to cook, read, sing and go on long walks with my dogs (who are back home and I miss very much). I also would love to help kids with any homework or extra tutoring. I love to get kids involved in sensory play and outside as much as possible. I also recognise that kids need downtime, especially after school, and would ensure this happened.

I believe as a nanny/babysitter, I should avoid the TV at all costs, unless directed by the parents of course, because there is so much fun to be had and learning to be done through play and relaxing activities.
