Hello my name is Melissa, I'm 31 and am in year 2 of 4 studying Early Learning Teaching at UniSA. I live in the Eastern Suburbs and am able to travel (dependant on job and availability). I have previously been working in the Events and Hospitality industry for the last 12 years, most recently as an Event and Venue Manager for the past 5/6 years. (Safe to say I can juggle a thing or two!!)

When COVID came along I took a long hard look forward to my next 5+ years and what I wanted to be doing and I've made a huge life change leaving my full-time salaried work to go back to Uni as an adult to change careers. I am currently working at an Eastern Suburbs OSHC a on Monday & Tuesday 2pm - 6pm and when school holidays come along a few days a week and at varied times. I am best suited to babysitting for parent/s nights/days out to events etc. across the weekend or the occasional week day help :) I am currently unable to commit to regular after school pick-ups on weeknights due to other committed work.

I have done lots of babysitting throughout my years starting from when I was in high school. I come with my own car and full licence, Senior First Aid, Working With Children Check and current Police Check.

Being 31 I come with a wide range of life experience and maturity, reflected in my hourly rate. My main focus is your children but occasionally when we find ourselves with some downtime on quiet days/nights or when children are asleep during this time (upon your request) I am able to cook, tidy, basic ironing, unload dishwasher, put on a load of washing, hang out washing or even water the garden (don't worry.. I will not go looking for your washing and I cannot do this all once mind you :) haha!)

By nature I will always clean up after myself to the best of my availability and in-turn I trust I have your understanding that sometimes some days just don't go to plan and the 'extra' jobs above sometimes just don't get done! :)

I am a very creative person by nature and am happy to create and engage with fun activities from resources that you may already have around the home if that's what your children enjoy! -
