Regular school day mornings to help get a 12yo boy onto disability transport
I have a need for a regular carer for 1 hour every school day from 7am to 8am just to help our aspergers 12 yo boy get ready for school. It essentially entails making sure he is ready, puts his lunch in his bag, you may need to tie his shoelaces for him, and be the "responsible adult" that is required to get him onto his disability transport. It essentially entails making sure he is ready, puts his lunch in his bag, you may need to tie his shoelaces for him, and be the "responsible adult" that is required to get him onto his disability transport. The only other thing is to keep him and his older sister from engaging with each other as they fight. It would be regular pay, we would pay you for the day regardless of if we need to cancel due to illness or appointments etc. He is in a good routine, dresses himself, brushes his teeth etc. He would be fed brekky and lunch already made etc. Easy money, lol. We have dogs and chickens, fyi. He is a sweet boy and pretty much just watches his tablet for the hour. No arguments about getting ready or getting on the transport. There would be no adult at home when you arrived, but his sister is 14 and looks after herself, and she would be responsible for letting you in and locking up when she goes to school. Only required for school terms, so 40 weeks per year (minus 5 or 6 this year). Actual start day would be 1st March when hubby starts new job, but would have you come on the Tuesday as well to get a feel for the current routine.
