Nanny needed for 2 kids (2yrs & 4.5yrs) in Thornton on Monday's and Tuesday's 9-10hours per day for a period of 9 months; $20 per hour.

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy nanny to take care of our two children two days per week until Christmas.

We want someone warm and caring who can become part of our family.

Duties will include:
- 7:30am start to 4:30-5:30 finish
- Getting children dressed
- Preparing and providing breakfast, lunch and snacks
- Nappy changing and when the time comes healing to toilet train my two year old
- Providing nap time for the two year old

- Playing games and creating a nurturing environment for our kids
- Supervising the kids activities at all times
- Performing housework duties related to childcare such a cleaning up after meals, general tidying
- Planing and leading some educational activities including reading
- Disciplining the children when necesssary in accordance with our strategies (we don't believe in smacking a child)

Desireable duties but not essential:
- Transporting and attending swimming lessons with the children on Monday mornings (3.5kms from our home). Car seats will be provided. Must have own car and appropriate insurances.
- Making family dinner for Monday and Tuesday nights.

We live on 1.25acres and have two dogs. The nanny is not required to interact with the animals if they don't want to and we can separate them if required. although one is an old Labrador that the children love so we would prefer someone who likes and is comfortable with dogs.

We are looking to enter into a contract with the preferred person and we are aware of our legal requirements under Fairwork NSW and PAYG requirments.

Experience/qualifications/checks:
- Experience with children under five
- Preferred training in early childcare but not essential
- Current first aid
- Police check and working with children check or willingness to obtain
- Drivers licence check (if transporting children is one of the options)
- A trial period of 1 month will apply.

Overall we are a relaxed easy going family looking for someone who genuinely cares for kids that our kids can enjoy their time with. Our kids are also affectionate, particularly our daughter so you must also love cuddles!
