We are a family who has had au pairs living with us since 2010 and each has stayed with us for 12 months. We stay in regular contact with all our au pairs and visit often on our travels.
We are looking for a responsible, honest & respectful person with a happy, caring disposition who can easily fit into our family life and provide a caring and loving environment for our girls. The position is fairly flexible Monday through to Friday because both children will be at school during the day. You will have Saturdays and Sundays off. Being proactive and using your initiative is definitely a requirement.
Duties associated with our children include: Mon - Fri: I leave each morning very early (4:00am) to take our eldest to swim squad an hour away so you need to wake the little one up at 7:00am, help her get ready for school & get breakfast done. I arrive home in time (8:00am) to take her to school. Some after school pick ups are required and a couple of after school activities for the little one e.g.: horse riding lessons, hockey training. During the day, sometimes just a hand with daily chores, nothing too stressful: running errands, taking the dog for a run at the dog park.
Duties associated with organizing the home include: keeping the place tidy, sometimes folding and packing away laundry, running occasional errands, dropping off dry-cleaning. No heavy housework is required.
We have a tidy home and everything has it's place. We ideally share all meals together (when appropriate) and things are kept clean & tidy. We have a few household rules e.g.: no shoes inside, no smoking, beds made each morning, bedroom & bathroom to be kept spotless, no excessive late nights (we are an early rising family (3:30am - 4:00am most mornings) so early nights & sleep is very important).

- female aged between 20 - 27 yrs old; - fluent in English - non smoker - have a driver's license - able to stay with us for at least 9 months - eats everything (ie: vegetarian considered but meat is a big part of our diet) - likes animals, no allergies - enjoy swimming a lot - love children!
We live in a vibrant town in a spacious home. You will have your own room and bathroom. We will provide full board, Wi-Fi, a vehicle for weekly use to get our daughters where they need to be and a great family environment to live in. Our home has a gym, media centre, pool, arcade room and private outdoor spaces. Our home is safe & secure. We expect our new au pair to be a part of our family life, interact as another member of us, enjoy most meal times with us all, assist with basic chores around the house and generally just be kind to our children, communicate well, always be respectful & most of all be hands on and willing to always lend a hand.
We would like someone who can start as soon as possible.
