We are a Christian family of four and our girls are energetic, kind hearted and good natured, and will love having someone else in their lives who enjoys spending time with them while their parents are at work. They are both active and love everything from riding their bikes and scooters, playing outdoors, to indoor activities like craft, lego and imaginative play.
The hours will vary slightly, but will generally be 5 days a week during school terms with a split shift each day of 7:15-8:45am and 2:30/3pm-5pm, with some earlier starts required on the odd occasion. Care is not required during school holidays.
What is required: - School morning drop off, and afternoon pick up - Caring for children, including getting them ready for school - Food preparation for breakfast, afternoon tea and some dinners - Taking children to after school activities (currently piano lessons and dancing) - Help with homework - Encouraging active and passive play (indoors and outdoors) - General cleaning duties (cleaning up after the children, ensuring the home is tidy and presentable)
Applicants need to have a working with children check, and a police check may also be required. First aid certificate is also desirable (but not essential). Applicants will need their drivers licence and a car that can accommodate car seats. We would prefer someone with previous experience looking after children.
Pay: $25/hr negotiable depending on experience
