So we have 2 lovely kids aged 6 and 8. We are a split family and live a little way apart so have been unable to spend as much time as we like together. The kids school is 40 min away unfortunately. We live in Langwarrin and they live in Blackburn and are well established in a school there.
We would love to have them more of course but the drive to and from school to our place would be too difficult for them everyday if it were one-week on/off. It would also be difficult from a work point of view as we could not be able to pick them up at 330 everyday of the week.
So we are hoping that we can have them a few extra nights a week without putting too much pressure on them each day travelling back and fourth from school.
We also need some help for some pickup/drop-offs to school because of work commitments.
We are hoping to be able to have them from Wednesday night through to the following Monday every second week and need some help with some of the pick-up and drop-offs.
The days that we would need someone to pick-up and drop-off would be:
Thursday - pick-up from school in Blackburn at 330 and drop home to Langwarrin (no extra care needed)
Friday - drop them off to school at 850am in Blackburn.
We are happy to pay for petrol and Citylink Costs and car seats if needed.
