In exchange for 20 hours work during the week/weekend, we are offering: * Room with queen size bed, cupboard & shared bathroom. * Free Wifi & food/meals. * Use of a car locally when we are not needing it * Extra paid work available for ad hoc babysitting evenings/weekends. * As our children go to day care during the week, we are seeking assistance in the early mornings, some evenings, & on weekends, so this position would be ideal for demi pairs who would like to work elsewhere during the day, go sightseeing or students who are studying. * We are also more than happy for you to join us on any family outings & would welcome you as part of our family
What we're looking for a demi pair who: * is fun, outgoing, loving, friendly, patient, attentive, nurturing, creative, energetic, flexible, imaginative, kind & caring. * has a minimum 1 year experience with younger children * enjoys the outdoors/nature - our children are very active & energetic & like to play outdoors, run around the backyard, go to the park & beach. * enjoys being musical, imaginative & creative - our children also love to play with dolls, dinosaur toys, play doh & they especially love to sing, dance, read books & do craft activities. * enjoys playing with the kids & entertaining them without screens. * is clean, hygienic, neat & tidy. * is happy to help with light housework (laundry, cleaning kitchen, cooking, cleaning up after themselves & the kids & contribute to household chores etc). * does NOT smoke or drink * is a good role model. * who is able to drive & to work legally in Australia. * has at least 2 references, police checks, working with children checks /blue card.
