Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I will begin with some information about my little family.
My name is Seanna and I am a 25 year old mother to three beautiful children. My eldest son, Ben is 5 and will be in Prep next year. My daughter Lucy will be 4 in March and will be attending Kindy 3 days per week. My name is Seanna and I am a 25 year old mother to three beautiful children. My eldest son, Ben is 5 and will be in Prep next year. My daughter Lucy will be 4 in March and will be attending Kindy 3 days per week. My youngest son Charlie will be 2 in March and is registered for 1 day of daycare in 2020 - all commencing in late January. I separated with the father of my eldest children due to domestic violence. They visit with their father fortnightly, leaving on a Friday and returning on Sunday. There will be times when they will be away and only Charlie will be home. Don't worry, you will not be required to facilitate these visits. However, I would like you to stay with Charlie while I do the drop off. This is usually from 12:30pm to 3-3:30pm.
My wonderful partner and Charlie's dad, Rob works locally in civil construction and is home around 6pm each night so you may not be required for overnight care... yet. There have been times when he has had to travel and be away for work but when you become part of our family, you will be kept in the loop of anything that is going on.
As for me, I have been a stay at home mum since I had Ben. I now study full time doing a Diploma in Community Services and after completion will begin a Bachelor of Social Work. I have just been offered my dream job and this is is where I need you! The employment is on a casual basis for the time being and I commence work in December. There will be morning, afternoon and overnight shifts involved. Initially, it may be messy and unpredictable while I learn new shifts and get settled in, so I need you to be flexible. Please note that I want to work WITH you, because I want this to be an enjoyable experience for both of us. I understand that you have a family, work, study and may have other personal commitments. I would consider someone that is a non-local if they are the right person for our family, for a live-in arrangement.
In a nutshell, I am looking for someone who is friendly, caring, honest, reliable, trustworthy and flexible.
Someone who has experience with children and genuinely enjoys being around children.
You will need to have a driver's license and your own car.
Blue card and first aid certificate are good but not essential.
Some of your duties may include drop off and pick up from school/kindy/daycare, preparing breakfast/lunch/dinner, general household chores (vacuum, mop, dishes, laundry, tidy up toys), playing games and reading stories.
I would like to come to an agreement with you on the money side of things, something that we are both happy with.
At the end of the day, I would like to find someone to become part of our family.
