It is to help across two households about 500m apart - one mine, where I live with my wife and three children (12, 9 and 7) and the other where my parents live. The key responsibilities as I see them would be: - For my wife and I: care for the three children after school (i.e. from 3) each day. This would usually include picking one or more up from school and/or after school activities, as well as helping with homework, bathing, supporting play, preparing , preparing for dinner, basic tidying up, etc. - For my parents: helping out late morning until school finishes managing household needs and doing various household help tasks. This could include managing trades/cleaners engaged around the house, getting some take-away or preparing lunch for my elderly father (mum is usually out, at work), doing some basic grocery shopping, helping out with couriers, filing, etc. in mum's home office, giving one or other a lift somewhere on occasion and doing some basic tidying around the house. I should note, this is NOT a cleaning job - both households have cleaning on a bi-weekly basis - more so, it is a household manager job insofar as my parents are concerned and a nannying/babysitting job for me. We are willing to pay market rates or even above them if need be to connect with the right person, so pay is negotiable. One other thing to note: my parents have two golden retrievers - very friendly dogs, but I guess you have to like or not mind dogs in order to be interested! Suffice to say, you do need to be able to drive to be able to help us out. We will provide a car for use or supplement expenses for you to use your own car if you prefer. A valid driver's licence, a working with children check and a reference or two would be appreciated from any applicant. Thanks.
