Hi, I have a bubbling and creative personality, I just love looking after children and learning each child individually for the most fun :) Hello, My name is Cassandra but everyone calls me Cass. I am currently studying my cert III in early childcare, with plans to further my education by studying special needs educational care and getting my diploma in Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN). I am also fully qualified in First Aid. Cooking, Cleaning, Bedtime and Overnight shifts are all things I am more than happy to do. I am unable to drive as I only have a learners permit and no car, however I am always more than happy to go on a public transport adventure with the children for activities (Only of request of course). I have a passion for looking after and teaching children and babies. I love learning their interests, their favourite things to do and building a strong relationships with every child I look after. I have been looking after children since I can remember, and I absolutely loved looking after my brother and small cousins. My philosophy for looking after children is that the children come first, I will always encourage and help the child to explore any and everything they are interested in. I will always try to make the day educational and extremely fun. I will always help children to manage and understand there big emotions. I have experience with behavioural issues on a one on one basis and in a childcare setting. I never ever get angry at or dismiss children's big emotions, I provide a safe and calm space to feel their big emotions, process them and then help them understand what they were feeling.
