As a single mom, I know how tough it can be to find a moment for yourself, like having a cup of coffee in peace, without jumping up every five minutes because the kids have gone suspiciously quiet. Sound familiar? It sure does to me! ? It's so much easier to relax when you know your kids are safe and entertained, especially when they're with an adult who really clicks with them. I'm 32 years old and live in southeast Melbourne, near the Frankston train line. Being a single mom led me to find my passion in working as a nanny. Taking care of kids and spending time with them lets me embrace my inner child and reminds me of the simple joys in life. Kids can tell when you're genuinely enjoying the time you spend with them, which makes it so much easier to connect. I have a current WWCC (Working with Children Check) and have successfully completed a First Aid course for both adults and children, including CPR.
