Hi families, My name is Chamarika, and I am a 24-year-old Early Childhood Education student at Deakin University. I am originally from Sri Lanka and moved to Australia to continue my studies. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, including 3 years in Sri Lanka and almost 2 years in Australia. I currently work as an Assistant Educator in childcare and mainly work with toddlers, but I have experience with children of different ages. I also regularly babysit for families and enjoy creating a safe, caring, and fun environment for children. I hold a Working With Children Check, First Aid certification, and a Victorian driver's licence. I am a non-smoker, reliable, patient, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development. I am comfortable with light household tasks, meal preparation, bedtime routines, and caring for pets. As a dog lover with three dogs back home, I am very comfortable around animals.
