Hi, I'm Nanthini (Nans)! I'm a Masters student at Monash University based in Clayton, and I love spending time with kids. Growing up, I looked after my younger siblings and cousins regularly, so I'm comfortable with everything from feeding and bedtime routines to keeping little ones entertained with games, drawing, and stories. I'm happy to care for children of all ages, from infants and toddlers through to older kids and teens. With younger children, I focus on keeping things calm and predictable, following the schedule parents give me for naps, feeds, and bedtime. With older kids, I enjoy helping with homework, playing games, and just being someone friendly they can talk to. I'm patient, responsible, and take safety seriously; I always check for any allergies, emergency contacts, and house rules before a parent leaves, and I stay attentive the whole time rather than being distracted. I'm comfortable handling typical situations that come up, like a toddler having a meltdown or kids squabbling over a toy, and I stay calm and reassuring throughout. I'm based in Clayton and generally available on weekends and weekday evenings, with more flexibility during university breaks.
