Hi my name is Sharon l am a young 55 year old mother of two children (a 30 year old girl and 27 year old boy). I live in Port Melbourne and l have many years nanny and child care experience. I hold a current: * Working With Children * Police check on request * St Johns First Aid Certificate - Education and Care setting (including infant CPR and treatment in Asthma and Anaphylaxis); * Mental Health First Aid Certificate; and * Full Victorian drivers license (own car - Suburu-Impreza wagon). * Non smoker *Fully immunized including boosters. I am a warm, caring, nurturing person who easily assimilates into a new family environment, and as a parent, I genuinely enjoy interacting and having fun with children. I am energetic and foster a happy and motivating environment for child development, and am focused on health, safety and behaviour by providing schedules, following commitments and maintaining routines. I am a careful listener as an employee, and in particular when given the responsibility of nanny/carer for your child. I have a passion for encouraging a love of exploration, learning and growth in every child through both indoor and outdoor play, education, exercise and fun. I have experience with sole, twin and multiple infant and child care which has included the following responsibilities and duties: * Regular meetings with parents to discuss the week's plans, discuss any issues or disciplinary challenges; * Intervened when disagreements arose and disciplined as previously instructed by parents; * Administering treatment or medication as required; * Fed combination of bottled milk and solids, and assisted weaning onto full solids; * Changing nappies, bathing and dressing, toilet training; * Carried out daily activities to meet physical and emotional needs; * Prepared and served meals and snacks; * Age appropriate learning and activities for all age groups. * Indoor and outdoor play including walks to parks and playground; * Preparation and serving breakfast and dinner; * Preparation of kinder and school lunches, morning and afternoon snacks; * Scheduled/social and after school activities with friends after school; * Accompanied children on walks, outings and educational trips; * Game playing and reading storybooks; * Drop off and collection of children from kinder and school; and * Supervision of play and swimming including sporting activities.
