Fun, active, and caring early childhood educator! I am Chelsea and I am looking forward to helping a family. I work at Karalta Cottage Kindergarten and am a patient educator who collaborates successfully with children, parents, and staff. I am strongly devoted and passionate about the childcare industry and have fallen in love with helping children develop their social, emotional, intellectual and motor skills. Most importantly I am a caring, hardworking and an enthusiastic childcare teacher, who listens to guardian requests and responds to situations with the best interests of the child in mind. While working at Karalta Cottage Kindergarten I have developed skills in: - implementing and participating in a movement/physical activity with children, - communicating with children about their feelings, - responding to a child in distress - communicating with families - promoting social interaction with children - facilitating discussions with children about health and wellbeing - providing spontaneous opportunities for children's physical play, - supporting children through daily routines including, - separation, - toileting, - mealtimes, - transitions, - sleep and rest.
