During my three years as an Assistant in Nursing in aged care, I gained hands-on experience in monitoring for signs and symptoms that could indicate resident deterioration, reporting any abnormalities in a resident's behaviour to the Registered Nurse. I understand the importance of a holistic approach to caring for older people, considering all aspects of the individual's mind, body, spirit, emotions, and environment rather than focusing solely on their disease. I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). I hold an ABN, a First Aid and CPR certificate.
