Hello, We are looking for a permanent nanny to support our family. Happy children are 2.5yob, 5yog, 6.5yob. We are seeking someone mature age, gentle and family oriented for an ongoing/permanent 2 days per week minimum, with potential for additional hours, as parents appointments come up. This is a long-term position. We are a gentle family, who treat each other with love and respect, regardless of age. We approach parenting with an understanding of the developmental capabilities of our children and parent in a way that empowers them. We model respectful behaviour to our children to teach them to respect themselves, you and all others. You will find us playing at home indoors with puzzles, cars, toy animals and reading books. We are just as likely to be found outside in the backyard, making sandcastles, popping bubbles, swinging and gardening. We expect that the carer of our children feels the same way we do about being gentle toward each other, always treating the children kindly and with respect, in a way appropriate for their developmental stage. You will be mature, friendly, loving, kind and approachable, ready to join our close-knit family. You will be someone we can all trust and quickly build a rapport with. We need our child/ren to form a bond with you and to trust you completely, so they are always happy in your care. You will have references we may call, from previous nanny or working with children positions. Your regular fixed weekly nanny services will be required minimum 2x days per week, for 8 hours. Daily services/ activities will include you organising and doing developmental activities, free playing inside and in the backyard. We have enough room to spread out over the course of the day. You will be responsible for making/heating their main meal/s and snacks throughout the day, with a cleanup of the kitchen used and toys used by the end of each day. Light dinner prep to be discussed/flexible. We will ask that at the end of each day, you send us through some photos of the children's time with you, nothing extensive.
