Child care position — We are a 2 mum 3 boy family, although only looking for care for the 2 youngest. Mr 11 is beautiful, so sweet and wonderfully eccentric. He is high functioning asd-2, ADHD, specific learning disorders in reading and writing and anxiety. He does not present with behavioural problems, however, he will withdraw if overstimulated, overwhelmed or disregulated and will require you to intervene and assist. He attends therapy 4 x times per week so would love you to be actively involved in his therapy. Mr 5 started kindy this year. He is sweet and loving, adores his mums and big brothers and he never stops talking. He will absolutely charm you with his gorgeous personality but he will need to be stimulated. We are looking for someone who is super nurturing, but sets boundaries, caring and present, flexible and reliable and shows up for the lads the way we do. Someone who is willing to assist with Mr 11's therapy and keep Mr 5 stimulated. Position will entail: - some school pick ups and after school care - Actively involved in Mr 11’s weekly therapies - Light household duties Above everything else, just making sure our little loves are well cared for and happy and feel safe! We require you to have: - WWCC - Driver’s license - Car - First Aid Certificate - 2 references - Someone who has experience with children with ASD
