Experienced, fun and reliable Babysitter :)

As a Primary Education student at UQ, my love of working with children is how I intend to define my career.

Since graduating from St Teresa's Catholic College in 2011, I have developed myself as a future teacher through diverse involvements in caring for children of all ages. While working in a Summer Camp in the USA, I built strong relationships with children through participating enthusiastically in a community environment, allowing me to teach children the values of compassion, understanding and respect for others. Through being employed in numerous OSHC centers, I have worked collaboratively with co-workers in order to deliver inclusive educational programs, while providing children with a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. My experience while working as a Support Worker for a child with Autism established my passion and motivation for assisting students with diverse abilities to progress in school and succeed in accomplishing their academic goals. My University studies and practical experiences have provided me with a solid knowledge base of the diverse needs of students and how to best advocate for them. Through caring for children in a Nanny role, for various families, I have further fostered my nurturing nature, and have strongly developed my patience and humility.

The knowledge and understanding that I have gained from these experiences is very important to me, both personally and professionally. I am an enthusiastic team player, devoted to this discipline. Combined with my experience, I am sure I will provide your family with a valuable asset.
