Hi,
I look forward to hopefully helping your family out.
I am kind, empathetic, structured and patient but can still have lots of fun!
I am a single mum of three (11, 9 and 5), so naturally my mind went to doing what I have always done, looking after and nurturing children. When my eldest was 2, I was the nanny/house cleaner for a two year old and this meant I could take my daughter along with me. It was a perfect balance for me. Prior and after this I have owned my own business in sales and marketing and I have been fortunate enough to dabble in this over the years, but I was incredibly lucky to be able to stay home full time with my children for the majority of the time. Although I have no formal qualifications in child care, I am a firm believer that Mums and Dads just understand what it's like to look after children, and that your level of acceptable care and nurturing should be to treat the child you are caring for exactly how you would hope someone would treat your own children, all while being respectful of the other parents wishes. With this understanding, I have been so fortunate to work for some beautiful families and connect with their equally wonderful children. I really do love my job. Being a mother myself I completely understand how daunting it can be to trust someone with your child/children, and hope that through communication and trust that a beautiful trusting and respectful friendship can be formed not only between the child and I, but you as a parents and employer. I am empathetic, and supportive in nature and absolutely love being around children. Support with school work, cleaning, cooking and problem solving comes naturally and I have that special direct line to the magic fairy that makes everything better! Or if all else fails, I carry a lot of bandaids in my handbag! But all in all, I am fully aware that nothing is better than Mum and Dad and reassuring your children in a loving and caring way while you are at work or somewhere else is my priority. Over the years I have also picked up a lot in regards to sleep and behaviour issues, that I have used effectively with my own children and other families. I am more than happy to help and share if you require this. Most recently, I have baby sat for families, with children on the spectrum and with various medical needs. References can also be obtained.
I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully helping you with your beautiful little people.

What parents love about me
I am mature enough to understand what is required, and being a mother I understand the importance of choosing the right fit for your child/children and family. I have the right amount of structure, and fun that a babysitter should have, but the added nurturing and warmth of a Mum.
What kids love about me
So far my soccer, and Uno skills seem to be a hit at the moment! But story time before bed is also lots of fun.
What I love about this work
I have learnt so much from the children I have cared for and I love building a relationship with them even if it is a once off babysitting job. In that moment, gaining the trust and making your child and you feel safe knowing that I am caring for your child is very rewarding.
