Weds-Fri after school care for two primary school aged kids (7 and 10) required for the school year.
We are looking for a mature and responsible person to provide after school care for our two daughters who are 10 and 7. It is possible that there is a requirement for this work to extend to cover school holidays in part dependent on mutual schedules.
As this is a longer term posting, we would like to meet potential candidates to discuss and clarify details and to provide an opportunity for both parties to determine whether the fit is right.
Duties associated with the job include the following:
----------------------------- PRIMARY DUTIES ----------------------------- * Pick up the girls from school in St Ives at 2:55pm Mon - Fri * Take girls to any after school activities (at this stage this may be just band practice at the school) * Bring the girls home * Prepare or organise a light afternoon snack * Supervise/assist with homework and reading * Some light household duties such as ironing school uniforms, assisting girls with tidying rooms etc ----------------------------- EXPECTED HOURS ----------------------------- * 2:55pm to approximately 5:30pm Wednesday to Friday
----------------------------- REQUIREMENTS ----------------------------- To be considered for this appointment, you must meet the following criteria:
* Have a current clean NSW driver's license * Possess own roadworthy car * Have had prior experience caring for and supervising children of a similar age * A current Working with Children Check and other relevant qualifications associated with working with children would be highly regarded * Formal references from previous families would be highly regarded
