Baby E seeks Carer and Mother's Help. Immediate start

Responsive gentle and compassionate person required to assist with care of delightful 3mo baby and general home duties.

MUST be willing to travel to Imbil.

Us:
We are a loving family of three, delightful Baby E and her two Mums, living in a natural oasis close to the small town of Imbil.

As Mummy has returned to work and Mama has broken her leg, we are seeking a special person to help care for Baby E five mornings a week from 8am to 12-1pm over the next six weeks, with the possibility of ongoing part time nanny work.

The role:
- Responsive empathic care for baby including play, changing nappies, sleep and settling, respectful routine development, supporting breastfeeding and baby led weaning in coming months
- Home duties including dishes, laundry, light food prep, tidying and occasional light cleaning
- Practical support for Mama around the home as needed
- Occasional local errands by negotiation

You:
The right person will be a naturally warm and engaging person with a gentle approach and commitment to responsive care. Must demonstrate commitment to high quality care and ability to follow direction well.

Preferred person will be familiar with various aspects of early childhood development including :
- attachment/gentle parenting approaches
- routine/sleep management,
- breast/bottle feeding,
- allergies/food intolerances,
- gross/fine motor skills training, etc.

Essential:
- Blue card (working with children)
- First aid certificate including CPR
- Drivers licence and reliable car
- References preferred
- A sense of humour is essential

Qualifications in childcare preferred but not essential, a person with tertiary qualifications or currently studying welcome.

Child First Aid essential, we will support the right person to attain this.

We practice responsive, gentle, attachment parenting. A compatible approach is a must for this role.

Fees negotiable depending on qualifications and fit.

The right fit is more important to us than qualifications.
