I love to play, cook good and healthy meals, help with schoolwork and drive your kids to sports and other activities. I drive safely and with many years of practice.
I am also happy to stay overnight or at holidays to look after your child/children when you are away.

What parents love about me
The safety of the children is the most important. I've been driving my car every day for almost 35 years and luckily I haven't had any accidents. In addition, I can offer my habits from many years of professional activity: I am extremely reliable, patient and balanced.
Children are an affair of the heart for me. Even the youngest have their own personalities and it's exciting to watch them grow up. The innocence of children touches me every day (I live with two young children).
They must be guided gently and patiently, no loud words necessary if one has the quiet and time to be lovingly consistent.
Children are very vulnerable, not only physically but also emotionally. It is therefore important to treat them gently, with love, empathy and caring, but also with a lot of fun. It is my great pleasure to be able to contribute a small part to this.
What kids love about me
Children like to play with me because I can offer original ideas. I'm not a big fan of lots of toys. I find it much more exciting to make toys myself from things that can be found in the home or in nature.
I also like making up stories more myself. That's because our grandmother used to tell us two children a made-up story every night before we went to sleep. Always with the same protagonists. The story changed (in hindsight), not significantly. But this routine gave us children security and a cozy feeling of security.
As a small child, my daughter was in a children's group where I spent half an hour a day telling the children imaginative stories. They loved it and I loved it. But since I worked in a children's library for many years, I also love introducing children to books. This is of course easier to do with small children than with older children, who then prefer their favorite toys from the shop. I also like board games or outdoor ball games. Going to the beach with the kids is perfectly fine. However, for safety reasons, I prefer to leave it to the parents to go swimming with the kids. Of course, going to the playground is perfect.
What I love about this work
Being in contact with children is entering another world, another reality. Away from "adult" commitments. That's good and right, because after all you're an adult, but it's also wonderful to let your imagination run wild when you paint, do handicrafts or tell stories with the child. I also appreciate the responsibility in this job, because what is more important than looking after a child. But it's also nice not having the entire task of raising children, because I know from my own experience how difficult it is to reconcile work, household, doctor's visits and other ways and what is most important, time with the children. That's why I think it's the best job there is.
