I am Mira. I've been looking after children for over 7 years. I began doing voluntary babysitting for my parents and their friends, entertaining their children, and my siblings. I have nearly a years experience working in a long day care, working with kids from ages 6 months to 6 years. During my time there, I helped manage the cleanliness of the centre, helped contribute and run group activities, taught children things ranging from life skills (toilet training, turn taking, and social skills) to the fun things (sports, crafts and cooking).

I also have 6 months experience working as a nanny/housekeeper for an agency. Working with children aged between 4 months and 8 years old, and doing many different tasks, tasks like cleaning the house, managing the laundry, organising meal preps, going grocery shopping and running errands. In regards to the Nanny aspect, I took the children out to the park, organised crafts with them, did nappy changes and managed sleep times. I am also able to adhere to routines, and work my activities around this.

I also have 5 years experience as a Girl Guide leader, volunteering with girls aged between 6 years of age and 14 years of age. Throughout that, I have run many different activities, teaching things from wellbeing, to diet and nutrition, and mental health. I have also run activities that focus on fun team-building, through craft, sport and challenges.

My hourly rate varies depending on weekday, and weekend times, and on public holidays. Depending on financial situations, and tasks you need me to complete, my rate is negotiable within reason.
