My current host parents appreciate that I am always organised when it comes to the children as this makes life easier for everyone. I am punctual to school, activities and commitments. I like to be silly with the kids and engage in their interests and tailor my care to each individual child and their needs. In addition, I respect that routines and structure are important and enforce these when appropriate.

Kids love that I am silly with them and that I listen when they are frustrated or have trouble communicating. They enjoy having a 'big sister' who can play games with them and prioritise them.

I love that I can help kids to feel confident and have fun. It's great to see things through little eyes and it's rewarding to see growth over time.
