While i have loved working in a childcare center, i feel i have so much more to offer when working one-on-one with small groups of children. I love to teach, play and be creative with children and i have endless resources to keep children engaged and entertained. I am currently studying part time at university on Monday afternoons and Tuesdays, other than that I am completely free! I have experience in toilet training, food preparation, learning through play and challenging the children to reach their potential. id love to help take off some of the weight of balancing being a parent, household chores and work, I know it can be hard but I'm here to help! What parents love about me
I am flexible, can follow instructions, outgoing and love having a good chat. I am happy to take on extra tasks, I love cooking and I have been told that I am very good with children, with many returning families for babysitting. I can provide all educational resources, I have such a deep care for the children I am looking after. I love to play and do physical activities like going to the park, playing sports or yoga. I consider myself very enthusiastic about each Childs wellbeing, safety and happiness and will do everything I can to keep your children safe and happy. Another one of my favorite things to do is clean and organize, so give me and related task and i will happily do it when I have time. One things for sure, your children will never be bored with me around!
What kids love about me
I have a happy and outgoing disposition, I'm always smiling and make an effort to never react to children with a raised voice, instead make them feel heard and understood, and gently guide them in the right direction, I believe in positive reinforcement, such as reward charts and prizes for the desired behavior's. Children love this as it is an incentive to begin to form good values and positive behavior. I love to have fun with the Kids, not just arrange an activity and supervise it, but actually get involved and support the children when needed. I am always gentle with children, and make them feel safe, be someone they can trust and be someone to look up to, like a positive role model.
What I love about this work
I love watching little ones grow and develop, and being part of that process. i love making the lives of new families easier with my experience, and i get a lot of happiness from making others happy. I love spending time with children and seeing the smiles on their little faces absolutely makes my day!
