Hi, Diaz here! I am a bubbly, friendly and fun 18 year old. I enjoy most sports and love being around children and furry friends.
I am a 1st year student at ECU in Joondalup, studying to become a Secondary P.E Teacher. I currently work as a casual support worker and have many previous years caring for children. I am originally from Geraldton, where I grew up with my two sisters, mum and dad, and my house load of animals! I purposely moved to Perth in February for University and to meet more people, and am finding the enjoyment of having my own independence and freedom. What parents love about me
When working with children, parents love seeing their children engaging in activities they love whilst having a smile on their face. Parents love when what they have asked of the child has been done professionally and not left.
What kids love about me
Children love the fun and games. They love someone taking part in their activity not a worker who is sitting back and watching. They like a sense of humour, as well as being able to have trust and feel safe in their worker.
What I love about this work
That I am able to give the parent a helping hand whilst the parent is busy working, and I have the responsibility of caring for someone else’s child in making sure they’re safe and running through their daily schedule.
