I'm currently studying at Monash University as an English Literature student and I'm energetic, caring, and extremely passionate about working with children. Having previously worked as a children's party host and with over two years of experience as an early years educator in nurseries across England, I am highly experienced with young children. During my time in my nursery role I was responsible for the development of a group of key children aged between 12 months and 18 months. This involved attending to and recording the daily needs of each child (from feeding and nappy changes to cuddles and play), crafting activities to suit each child's key interests + enhance their developement, and liasising with parents on all child-related matters, including the creation of support plans for any children that weren't meeting developmental markers. I absolutely adored my role and the bonds I created with the children were unparalelled - having to say goodbye to them in England was devestating, but I'm really looking forward to supporting another family whilst I'm out here!
