As a part-time live-in Nanny for the past year, I’ve been dedicated to nurturing kids and I now have a range of available times to offer. I like to tailor my service based on the families needs and responsibilities usually include:

*Morning, afternoon and evening routines including school pick up and drop off
*Kind and attentive listener, focused on emotional regulation and the child feeling heard
*Intentional and empathetic child focused care
*Light household duties and cleaning
*Eagerness to learn and adaptable approach to the house rules and family values
*Homework assistance and play
*Creative game 'comer-up-pera', just for fun or to encourage participation

I have the required documents for child care:

*Blue Card - Working with Children Check
*Childcare specific First Aid and CPR
*QLD Police Check
*Open manual Licence and own car

I believe children are the most important humans on this earth, second to their parents caring for them, of course! Parenting is hard and I want to be a part of your village.

Exchange for services:

$32 per hour for weekly service

$35 per hour for one off service

“Tess has been our live-in Nanny providing childcare services of approximately 10-12 hours per week to my two daughters (3 and 5 years’ old) since late November 2022. In that time, with patience, kindness, gentleness and curiosity, she has built a trusting and beautiful relationship with my children. In regards to my elder daughter, in which there was some initial resistance to Tess’s presence, Tess was able to swiftly win her over and gain her trust and cooperation. My parents, friends, and my daughter’s friends’ parents regularly speak to me of Tess’ positive qualities and how fortunate we are to have Tess’ support in our family life. We are soon to move family home, and my parents and friends’ first enquiry was to establish whether Tess would be moving with us (she is!).
