I have worked as a childcare provider for over 10 years. My previous roles have included sole charge nanny, postnatal doula, mother’s help, au pair, and as an occasional babysitter for many lovely families with children aged newborn to 13 years. I have received my BA Social Work & previously worked as a child & family social worker through which I have gained experience working with children in a variety of settings, including child protection agencies, hospitals and schools. I am first aid and CPR trained for newborns & children, as well as adults. I am also trained in AED Defibrillation. I hold my Blue Card, have an international police check, and hold a variety of childcare certifications, including: child protection, safeguarding, child development, and health and safety. I have a full license and my own car. I am also trained as a birth and postnatal doula.

I always aim to ensure the overall well-being and safety of the child(ren) in my care, whilst stimulating their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. As a parent myself I know how difficult it can be to find the right person to care for your child, and I always treat children in my care how I would want my little one to be cared for: full of love, laughter, nurturing and fun experiences & memories!

I am originally from Canada, however have lived in the UK for the last 10 years and have now moved to the Gold Coast with my partner & son. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, as well as exploring our new neighbourhood on the Gold Coast and beyond.
