My name is Courtney, I am a 22 year old University student from Canada currently located in Salisbury, Brisbane, QLD.
I have multiple years of experience working as a nanny and as a babysitter. I began babysitting at the age of 13 and looked after multiple children of various ages. More recently I have worked for two families, one as a full time nanny for a 1 year old, 3 year old and occasionally a 10 year old. The other family I provided daily after school care for 3 children between the ages of 4 and 11. I love getting children engaged in their environment by doing activities such as playing games, going on walks/to the playground, baking, arts and crafts, making music and other activities!
I have a very flexible schedule at university and am likely able to fit your needs! Unfortunately at the moment I do not have access to a vehicle, so if driving is needed I will not be able to provide that service.

What parents love about me
I am reliable, trustworthy, punctual, honest, and take child care very seriously - children’s safety is my top priority. I am also very flexible and am always willing to help out in any way I can. I also am always willing to help children with schoolwork, listen to them when they are upset, and make sure that they are active and engaged in their environment!
What kids love about me
I think the main thing kids love about me is that I am always ready to play games with them! Whether that be tag, hide and seek, soccer, board games or any other game that they enjoy I am always up for it and often spend hours doing so! Kids also always enjoy when I bring ingredients to bake cookies or cupcakes with them - I think it’s mostly because they like sweets!
What I love about this work
I love this work and have been doing it for years and it is by far the most rewarding and educational work I’ve ever done. Each and every one of the children I have looked after have taught me something, and getting to know each of them has been very special! My favourite thing is when I can help a child interact with their environment and see their happiness. I also love learning about what each child loves/is interested in the most - I have spent many many hours talking about and playing games centred around dinosaurs or cars and it is so special to see a child light up about something they love!
