I have completed my Zumba for Children certificate (2011), Learn to Swim Instructor certificate (2012) and worked with newborn babies in the hospital as a student nurse/midwife (2012). I have an up to date Blue Card, First Aid Certificate (including CPR), National Police Check, Drivers License and I am confident with administering medication for allergies. Beyond all the certifications, however, I do believe I am great at communicating and relating to children, establishing trusting, fun and energetic relationships with every child I have cared for, as well as having great rapport with parents.

What parents love about me
I am reliable, always on time and arrive with an abundance of energy to complete the day. I am happy to stay inside and do puzzles or craft or ready stories, but equally as happy to go to the park or attend an event. I like to engage with the children as much as possible throughout the day and try to encourage learning. I am confident administering medications, and completing tasks such as bottle feeding, nappy changes etc. I am efficient with conflict resolution.
What kids love about me
I am very warm and love to engage in all activities with children. I enjoy joking around, playing sports, reading, cooking and crafts, and try to make everything fun!
What I love about this work
I love watching children learn and grow. I love how they have such big hearts and become your little friends. The work itself is important too because helps me learn more about how to manage different children which will be beneficial for my career as a paediatric speech pathologist.
