I am an experienced child carer and can take care of children from new born to 12 years of age.

My name is Shelley and I have all of my certificates up to date.
Last year I left a position looking after 3 children under the age of 5 years of age.

* Established and maintained a safe environment for the children in the home as well as outside.
* Encouraged children to be understanding of and patient with others.
* Coordinated field trips to local parks, water play grounds and paid enclosed children's areas.
* Engaged with children on an individual basis to build positive relationships, peers, parents, grandparents, other adults and myself.

For very young babies I take the timeout to feed,talk,sing and show love and affection through gentle touch so they feel a sense of comfort and safety while all their needs are being met.
